What Is Red Zone Training

Posted by CoachJasonW on January 4, 2012

“What is Red Zone Training?”, is a question I get asked a lot. With many businesses, if you ask them what “they” are, can recite verbatim their motto, slogan, core values, or their mission statement. They can tell you exactly what they do in a manner that is concise and easy to understand. I, however, have a hard time answering that question. I try to be as-encompassing and complete as possible (almost to the point of rambling while trying to collect my thoughts) when conveying who we are and what we do. The easy answer, which is about as lucent as the walls with which interact with your kids, is that we are what your child takes away from us. In other words, we are a different experience for each child and our benefits have been predetermined by the needs of your child.

For the child who doesn't play/like sports, we are an outlet for them to experience social interaction via movement and fun.

For the child who plays sports, we are a way for them to learn movements and develop motor skills not typically associated with their sport.

For the child who is overweight, we are the structured exercise that their bodies so desperately need.

For the child who lacks coordination, we are the catalyst that spurs movement, which in turn assists in development.

For the child who thinks exercise is boring and no fun, well, lets just say we make things interesting. :)

As you can see, we are many different things to many different kids, and that is just in our Rec classes. Our Advanced Rec Class is a kicked up version of our regular classes with a little more attention on the details and developing bio-motor skills. Advanced Rec classes are intended for kids who have already reached a certain level of athleticism and are looking to turn it up a notch.

Our TEAM program is designed to work with competitive athletes to reduce injuries, increase strength and speed, and to create a balanced athlete.

Just as each person's wants and desires are subjective unto themselves, Red Zone Training is that same personal experience.
